Today I attempted to sooth my sliding sanity by escaping to Burnham Beeches after I had dropped Lady K at work. In doing so I learnt some important lessons

Did you take the emergency muntjac recording device?

We could definitely use that sound to scare away the yoof round our parts :)

Annoyingly enough, no. I usually carry some field recording kit with me but I'd left it on the kitchen table. The first time I'd have ever had a proper use for it as well.

I did try and record it on my phone but it wasn't up to much.

Feel not dim, I had no idea what the spelling/pronunciation was, I looked it up this morning.
