i go down the stairs, after smoking, from our 3rd floor balcony when i come into an intersection with my mom who's walking past the stairs.
she looks at me.
i look back.
she walks past.

and turns her head and looks back again at me.

then she walks ahead.

Strike 2
im smoking at the balcony.
a sound comes from the door.
i quickly kill my cig and shift

oh my God. My Mom saw my lighter, and she asked why I had one.

I am so busted. But she kept mum about it. I guess she's too disappointed to say something. Hay.

i used to do that. lol. it was fun while it lasterd. it would be totally dark up at our own balcony when i smoked. all you could see was the little orange light of the tip. :D

there was also a time i just get smoked out in our bodega. hehe. til they changed the locks. hoho

but they do know i smoke. not at home though. so be careful. lol

my tita had already seen ashes and butts. im guessing she knows i smoke but i never let her catch me in the act. there's a big big difference.
my theory is that they try to not mind it when the evidences re not that direct. defense mechanism maybe? denial?
