It appears the radios have vanished. Not a trace remain.

What do you think is gained from all that, if any?

Would that not depend on who does the gaining?

True. I suppose you can look at this as a survey.

Many have gained information; in that sense, it may be seen as a kindness. Perhaps even a concession.

You are glad of the knowledge, then?

I think it's a good thing to know more about our pasts. It's important.

But it wasn't right that everyone heard each other's memories.

Do you feel it is important enough to endure the breach of privacy?

[some curlicue lines as she thinks.]

I don't know. I didn't mind, but I think everyone who got a memory has to decide their own feelings about that.

There are some things I know about my past that I wouldn't have wanted others to see or hear. But at the same time, I'd rather learn it that way than never know at all.

So... as a whole do you regard the revelations as beneficial?

I didn't want anything of mine to be shared with everyone, but mine wasn't even that bad. Others' were really bad, though, and... that shouldn't be shared with anyone, not unless they decide to do it themselves.

But I think it's worth it. We don't have very many chances to learn about ourselves, and any opportunity is one we have to seize.

Would you think it's worth it if your broadcasted memory is within the category of 'that bad'?

[Paaaaause. Well. His memory was pretty bad. All those marines screaming and getting smushed, but... no one commented on it, thank god, which is the only reason he can say it wasn't that bad. If his friends had attacked him...]

I guess If people didn't jump on m

Yeah. I am who I am, and I was who I was. I don't want it to be broadcast, but I'm proud of my past, even though I don't know exactly what I did most of the time. And I want to know what I did and the people I did it with, even if it means sharing.

[Saw that before it's struck out, and thinks of how she's been avoiding Genius. Feeling slighted even if he may or may not mean it that way? Maaaybe a bit.]

How is it possible to be proud of what you don't know?

I figure most of us wouldn't really, but do you feel any difference before and after them all?

I wasn't distressed to have my memory heard by others. I don't know how to feel about hearing the memories broadcast. Some offered insight, but I don't think the people they belonged to wanted others to know.
