i never regretted that relationship, however flammable and short-lived.

i never gave in to the pressure to use my mother's illness as an excuse, though i was once close.

i never stopped wanting to be more like my best friend. i don't think i ever will.

i never had a clear vision of what i was, until this last year and i didn't like what i saw, so i've been working on it ever since.

I'm in pretty deep when it comes to my local in-person life, but i try to check in other places (on-line et al) when time allows. can't promise it'll be here or anywhere, but i do make an attempt, for what it's worth.
