Re: XF - I'd say it is necessary. They reference what happens in the movie right in the season 6 premiere, IIRC. I guess you could just fill in the blanks yourself, but meh.

FARSCAPE. I was tumblring and re-blogged a bunch of John/Aeryn images and I was slammed with such an intense longing for them. I'm in the middle of several rewatches already and I really just finished a Farscape rewatch over Christmas, but yep, so restarting. It's just the best show ever.

The boy and I have started re-watching BSG, I forgot how much I adored it. And thanks to netflix instant i'm gonna have to do the same with Farscape soon.

You need FTF for season 6 - the mythology in season 6 is really really thick, mostly due to everything that happens in the movie. But I like that movie: it's better than the latest one, by far, and has a deliciously angsty hallway scene. :)
