HP Speculation
Some guesses/hypotheses/ideas on what will happen in the rest of the HP series, given the next book's coming out at 12:01 tomorrow morning. This is basically for being able to say "I called it" if I'm right about anything.
The HBP: Severus Snape. Just a guess. Otherwise, probably a new character. Wishfully, I'd say Justin, but then again he's not half, he's completely Muggleborn.
Dumbledore: Sorry, old boy, but it's your time to go. The death of the mentor figure is meant to push the protagonist into solving his own problems.
Sirius: Not coming back to the land of the living.
Snape: Is a good guy (sort of) and will not die in this book.
Peter: Is the "other", and will kill Voldemort. With his silver hand.
Narcissa: Is more dangerous than she seems. The narcissus family of plants is quite poisonous, after all--perhaps JK knew that?
Harry: Will hopefully befriend some Hufflepuffs. And maybe go out with Luna.
Draco: If he's going to get a sympathetic side, it's going to be in HBP. Given that he's got a chapter named for him, it's possible. Also--is it a coincidence that another famous Draco gave us one of the first law codes? Or is it just random naming?
Hermione: Will go out with Ron. Duh.
Ron: Will go out with Hermione. (Double duh.)
Lupin: Won't die until book 7.
Death Eaters: Attack Hogwarts.
