It happens to everyone, at least the part about not feeling any older or more mature. Everyone I know, at least the males, feel exactly the same as they did when they were 14. I think at that point, you're cognitively developed, and from 14 on you're just learning lessons and shit, since you've finally started to take a real role in society.

I feel exactly the same as I did when I was 17. Only I'm old, achy, fragile and whatnot....

You're not alone, chances are atleast some of your friends feel the same way.

I definitely feel the same. I'm 21 and I feel the same as I did when I was 16. Maybe it's just refusing to grow up, or maybe it's that I did grow up and am grown. Anyway, three years on LJ...I feel like I should give you both a "Congrats!" and also a "Wow, sorry to hear that man."
