I'm sorry that I suddenly reappear on the internet and all I have to talk about is heartache. Putting everything up here has reminded me what a solid, supportive community we have here for things beyond just anime, though. Though I think I'll manage, certain now that everything will be okay

Babe, I never did ask... is he seeking help for his depression? It's a fallacy to believe it's just being 'down in the dumps'... I know you know it as well. Please encourage him to find a counselor or group to give him the tools to work with to heal himself; often times we can't do this on our own and it's easy to become overwhelmed. There are many free services or reduced fee services out there; churches, department of social services, mens and women's groups all offer help for those suffering from depression. You don't have to beat him over the head with it, but definitely let him know of his options. Love takes many forms and this is definitely one of them... ♥

When we first started seeing each other and he found out that I see a therapist, he said he was going to start going back to his. I think when work started to get overwhelming, he sort of fell out of that routine, but now I'm going to emphasize that he go back to her. He said he was going to reach out to her again, but that's different from actually going. If there's one thing I can be on his ass about, it's that. You're very right: he thinks he has to go it alone, but he doesn't really... especially once he realizes there are still people who think he is important.

Hahaha, I'll have to s how this to him for sure!! He has told me that we'll make it through all of this but... I still miss him :(
