When I close my eyes I think of you

my mind fills with such wonderful things

hope and happiness flashes before me.

When I think of you, everything gets better

my day brightens up and the darkness falls

dreams are formed and wishes granted.

When I think of you, I see angles

you seem so perfect, a gift from God

how sweet and kind you are.

When I think of you, I wish

I wish I could keep you.

My heart cries out for the love I once had,
the love I held so close,
Now that love is lost to a lie,
and it pains me, and I die inside,
I can not explain my feelings,
For something I held so close,
is now so far from me.
My thoughts are now unclear,
God please help me,
for I can not see the truth.
Show me the path to love again
show me the path of happiness.
Take this pain away from me
For to see my love, my love as just a lie...
and it hurts more then anything else!
