Almost headed home....
So, it is always a bit of a chaotic adventure when I head south where I grew up and spent the first thirty years of my life. The fifthteen hour drive went unusually well, and we managed to actually make it to my parents house in time for dinner. The wondering of visiting old friends....
For some, sitting in a living room, with a cozy fire, and just chatting back and forth is not the ideal. For me, though, it brings back fond memories of weekly visits, and times when this was the norm, so when I travel down to Atlanta, and spend a day or two with my friends, that simple time of just visiting is what really makes it special.

I didn't get as far as I would have liked for several reasons... I had a wonderful visit from my mom and dad, followed by an unexpected 5 day trip to Tennessee, the unexpected pleasure of making a wedding dress for one of my close friends (magickchild ) and another not so super-secret design project that fell into my lap when my mum was in town...

Have Office, Will write....
Finally, I am happily ensconced in my office (it has a door!) and sitting at my desk, studiously ignoring the fact that the closet behind me (yes, I even have a closet in my office) is filled with boxes of unknown content that probably don't even belong here. Nor am I focusing on the fact that we still haven't managed to install the shelves above ( Read more... ) -
Post Pennsic Completed Projects & and Current List of things to do and work on...
So far writing up a list every month has really helped get me organized and get a better feel for where I want to go with things. It's been nice and gives me perspective.... anyway... on with the list... hopefully I can wade through it these next few months.
