Why thank you, dear. I miss you too. Eventually I will be sending cookies to you and Allie. I made some, but then my family descended upon them with great rejoicing and they were no more...It was quite traumatic for the cookies.

As a fellow Nanoer, I thank you. I keep thinking of these silly phrases that can go so wrong and this passage just happened to go just right. I think I grinned inappropriately at work and actually wrote this while my boss was in his office talking to his boss. That would have been a fun conversation..."I'm writing a trashy romance novel excerpt.. Care to read it?"
