I find this series really intruiging, and I look forward to the rest.

The only thing I find a bit odd about it is the use of nii-san, because I don't think Lyle would use Japanese to refer to his brother.

ahaha, you have me there with the use of Japanese. >.< I know, I realised that when I was writing the first part, but I went ahead and used it back then, so I'll just stick with it.
Frankly, I don't like it when writers use a whole lot of Japanese phrases and words in fanfiction when it doesn't fit (although I don't blame them. Japanese grammer is pretty complicated). There are just some things, usually names or the way characters refer to each other in canon, that stick and brings out the mood. So, being the sucker that I am, I use them. ^^;
But you're totally right, it is odd.

This chapter is intriguing to say the least. We have development with Lyle and the fact that Neil had been injured for that long makes me wonder how the hell did he get back to Earth in one piece (more or less?) Hmm, questions, questions, questions...

yikes...I hope I don't get your hopes too high, since the idea I have isn't very...well, epic... >_< But I'll try! I was going for more in-depth analysis/speculation/developement in Lyle and Neil when I first started out, so plot, as if always is, is my failing point. ~.~
