haha, yeah, I just kind of tied together the fight and its aftermath to Cross knowing about Kanda's tattoo and came up with this ^^; A story of what might have been.

But you are right, there is SO much more to the interaction between these two. Smut is good, but character development and relationships are better. ^_^

I agree, Cross cares and he's not shy about hiding it. He's much more honest than Kanda will ever be and that makes things all the more interesting. He's a great character. So much fun to write ^^

aahh, I'll try to write something smuttish for Cross' upcoming birthday! 31st, right?

haha, well, the credit may not all be mine ^^; I saw something similar in a Japanese fanfiction and absolutely loved it! So I took the idea and elaborated in a way that would fit here.

Thanks! I'm happy you enjoyed it! It's tragic that Cross and Kanda have absolutely no interaction in the manga T^T but I like to believe they're seeing each other like this in between the frames ^o^ I'm halfway through writing the next one!
