NICE! Lins, you rock! Man, I wish I knew how to knit! Say, Lins, if on the off-chance, we ever find ourselves in the same town for a while, whaddya say? I'll make you dinner, you make with the knitting lessons?

I say, pack it up all purty, cos them thar holidays are on the horizon. Or maybe it's just me that starts making so early. I do love them thar holidays....

I think it would be better if it were lined but at the same time I'm also thinking I'm lazy and not the best seamstress.

Certainly we can do that! Orrrrrrr, whilst we're apart, you can find yourself some knitting needles and (if you have a reasonably fast net-connection) check out knittinghelp.com -- that website was a great help for me! In the videos when she shows you how to do things she puts the camera facing her hands the way you face your own (so you don't have to twist your head around to get how to cast on and such).

I might pack it up for a holiday gift... but for whom?

Ooo - also, one of my other flisters nuxiemade (who knits beautiful things that I am not skilled enough for quite yet!) has an etsy.com account (it's homemade or vintage stuff for sale) so I'm thinking I might do that. You should check it out, it's a sweet little site. Her storefront specifically is http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=69490.

Oh and yes... I love the holidays too... I put a Christmas music cd in the car the other day and I asked my mom if we could get a Christmas tree today (because I love the smell and we always get it like two days before the actually holiday).

MMM.... Thanksgiving dinner - I love that holiday... it's my favorite... except for the tree smell... but it would be weird to have the tree already then, right?

;)
