First thing's first... I am not good company alone. If I had some cash and wasn't feeling so depressed and it wasn't 8000 degrees outside I think there would be more walking and/or leaving the house and/or watching to the tv too much (seriously, I don't have cable at home, I have netflix -- yes, I watch too much tv, but at least there it's crap I ( Read more... )

You know, we have macs at my house (which, you can't watch the Netflix stuff on) so I completely did not even think about that, Darren. I'm having a "oh, how lame am I?" moment.

That will totally make this stay better.

Alas, I might still get drawn to the tv cause it is gigantic. It's like a big ol' square black hole sitting in the living room.

tell me about tv. my sister and i spent a coupla hours watching some crappy modeling show about Janice Dickinson taking waifs to the zoo and screaming at them that "their FAT ASSES looked nothing like animals"

I don't even know what the point of it was. Why did she think it would be a good idea to make these skinny wretches pose as animals pose? One girl wouldn't do it, "because penguins don't strike poses or make faces.' and I thought about it... and she's totally right. penguins really don't make faces. and animals, in general, don't really pose. i don't know what this evil Janice was thinking.

plus the models were all WAY WAY too skinny. why am i even typing this to you, i don't know. but that is the problem with tv, it sucks you in

I know!

I avoided it most of Thursday, Friday, Saturday (watched the BBC Robin Hood show with my mom on dvd -- which was enjoyable, not full of advertising, and only one disc so 3 episodes), and then got sucked into a Law & Order:CI marathon Sunday. I've been dreaming that "dun dun" sound! It was too much. Too MUCH!
