This afternoon we took Gracie to the emergency vet and had her put to sleep. She had stopped eating and stopped drinking water, barely had the energy to walk, and was struggling to breathe because of her heart failure. but it was for the best, putting her to sleep, i mean it has to be if she could hardly walk, drink eat. yeah... she's at peace. Plus at church today we learned that 'Yes, there is an afterlife.'
Our reverend told us that, real assuredly. The topic of the sermon was "Is there life after death?" And Reverend Penny, she basically told us. Yeah. Guess what there is, because I am so so sure watching people close to me die and pass on that they are just so at peace that there has to be. I guess when my aunt was close to death from ovarian cancer she was tranquil like that. I've never actually watched someone close to me die, but it was a great sermon and Reverend Penny was just so positive about it, that I am sure that's were Gracie is right now. Still with you.

1"Do not judge, or you too will be judged. 2For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.
