Last Night

Last night, as I walked home from my babysitting, I found my mother and Sister at the community pool, swimming. I had no suit, so I simply dove in with my clothes on. It felt so wonderful, swimming in the warm, blue, blue water underneath the star-kissed sky and the full moon.

*sighs*

John is picking me up for the movies at 2:30! Can't wait!

midnight swims are the best, aren't they? There's something really neat about swimming in the dark under the stars.

Unless, of course, you convince yourself that the water is swarming with shrieking eels and have to make a dash for it. Not that that's ever happened to me, of course.

lol. Shreiking eels, eh? No... that's never happened to me....

That's okay, even if it does happen, just remind yourself: "She does not get eaten by the eels at this time". :-)

Yes, but she came pretty close. And we certainly thought we were in for it. We jumped ship just like she did. Of course, we were just runningn for the dock. . .
