Tallinn and such...

I've added 2 new countries to my visited countries list!!! Can you perhaps spot one of them? ;)

Very, incredibly early day today as I got up at 5AM, only to go to Tallinn. I must be nuts... Sander had decided to have a drinking game yesterday, which I only found out about once the people were in the house. Marvellous, meant that I couldn't go to bed that early. Fortunately they left to helsinki at about 12 to go out there and I went to bed...and out again...

Could walk from the train into the bus which was ace. Then at the check in, unlike last time's try, I didn't have to wait this time and I could go on board!!!
Walked a bit on the ship and felt like I was on the titanic *cough* Saw some horrible, horrible fashion victims and several people who obviously thought they were very important. Well, my only mission was: A TV!!! The boat wuld leave at 8 and at 8 the F1 quali would start. So, I found an ace spot, sat down and then went outside to take some pics of Helsinki town, as the boat was passing that. Got back and obv my seat was taken, so I just joined the standing guys and watched quali. Had a fun convo with a Finn, who figured I must be happy with Jens, Nico and Schu at 2, 3, 4 (+10...) and indeed I was. But we also thought that Kimi and Fernie would have had a lot of fuel with them. Wished eachother a nice time in Tallinn and then our ways seperated. Sat down somewhere else where it was a little more quiet as i didn't want to spend 3 hours in a pub, doing nothing... Got my book and read. Listened to my MP3 and was actually quite surprised to see ice on the baltic sea for soooo long. Wandered a bit around and sat down again. Surprisingly the 3.5 hours passed pretty quick...
At the arrivals terminal we had to show our passport and I figured I'd get a stamp in it. Not at all!! That sucked, I wanted a stamp *pouts**stamps feet*
Then is was about a 10 min walk to the old city and from a distance it looked very nice. Not nice was the melting snow and it was soooo wet outside. Glad I wore my snowboots, as now I didn't get wet feet :D
Just went somewhere, and then somewhere else, no clue where I was going, what I was seeing (didn't have a map, until I practically left...) but I've seen a lot and pics will follow some day...
Went into some stores, but bought nothing. Then as i figured I'd seen a lot, I headed back to the boat, and visited the bazar near the terminal. Marvellous, the Estonian version of: come into my store, nice stuff, student prices, have a look etc. Thank God they weren't too annoying, but maybe it was written on my forehead not to be so ;)
Went back to the terminal and we could check in already and go on the ship. It was 4.30 and the ship would leave at 6. Sat down, continued reading my book and after the boat had left I slept for about 2 hours. Marvellous! It was bloody cold though, but at least I slept.
Then, I don't know if all of you know the English tv show Keeping up appearances? Well I had to handle with a Finnish Hyacinth! And I tell you, she was bad!!! There were 3 of the plane seat kind of chairs on a row and we had a loooot of legspace, so it was also possible to sit in the window sill. I kinda had my legs stretched and tried to lay on my seat, when Mrs Hyacinth showed up. She wanted to sit in my seat, not that she said it, but it was too obvious... I refused to move, as the seat next to me was also free and she could sit there. No, if she couldn't sit in my seat, she and hub would sit in the window sill. She mumbled Anteeksi (pardon) and fell down in the window sill, her legs over mine, meaning I couldn't move them. Now, I can accept quite a lot, but I wasn't pleased with this at all. Obviouslt trying to get me out of my chair, turns into me staying in my chair and getting annoying as hell. She wasn't pleased with that. Well my ass, but who was there first? Who's too spoiled to take the middle seat? Buzz of lady, or handle me! She then had 'terrible' back pain and started to do like 'oh *sigh* pff' etc. Well woman, if you can't sit in the window sill, take the chair in the middle!! Spoiled brat! For the record, they left before me, however, I was out of the ship before them again *snort*
Tallinn was a nice town, but I think I rather see it in summer as the weather is better and the leaves are back on the trees and such, think it'll be a very very nice small town then. Also, St. Petersburg was the town with the ncier buildings, but that doesn't mean that Tallinn sucks. It was a very nice and cosy town :)

There, that's it I guess.

YAY JENSIE! YAY NICO!!!
