So I am seriously considering breast augmentation. Not for right this very second, of course...but, both Logan and I have been looking into it, and it's not as expensive as we thought it was originally. He seems alright with it, and he catches (apparently) those disappointed looks I give myself in the mirror when I think he's not looking. He says ( Read more... )

Not that I'm trying to dissuade you from being happy with yourself, but you should look into the negatives and alternatives of such a thing, too. I vaguely remember that you used to take some pills for that, and they worked. Also, there's the non-surgical, non-drug Brava system (http://www.brava.com/home.asp). The short version is, you wear a vacuum bra for 10 hours a day for 10 weeks, and you gain around one cup size. I believe the cost of the system is comparable to surgery. Sure, it's weird, but it's probably better than going under the knife.

And in case you're wondering how I know that, no, it's not some fetish, I saw it on the news awhile ago. :p

I would continue with the pills, but Logan flat out refuses to believe that they worked at all. So then, I get shit for even looking at the site I bought them from =.= I'd rather go this way than be the cause of another stupid argument when he's been under enough stress already.

I understand your sentiment, but let me ask a question. And please understand that I'm not asking or trying to give you advice that is divisive or scary.. I know you love Logan and I think you two are both very lucky to have each other. But.

Just whose body is it, anyway?

Have you done any research into the cons of augmentation surgery? Loss of sensation, scarring, the limited life expectancy of implants? They're only meant to last so long.

It doesn't matter what Logan believes. It's your body. If the pills worked and you want to try them again, then do it. If you want to try something else, do that. Or if you think surgery is best, then do that and tell me to shut up. The point is, it's your decision.
