I think it depends on the college. At my little community college generally, not very involved. Most of them went there for a very different reason than I did. Chances are A) their grades weren't good enough in high school to go to a university or B) their too lazy to go to a bigger, rigorous school and they just want a social hour. At the same time though, it depends on the program. My paralegal peers are WAY involved, and I think the nursing program students really are, as well.

I'll let you know how involved people are at DU when I'm there in a frickin' year!
