I'm not promoting drug use. But one has to wonder that without the drugs that Layne Stayley did he might have never been able to write the caliber of music that he did. Look at Kobain....or the best example Chris Farley would have never been the hyper madman he was without his crack. But I hate real drugs....jsut this whole thing has made me wonder that maybe these drugs are the life blood of thier careers. All those LSD people in the 60s(morrison and such) And why couldnt it have been that Scott Wieland fuck of STP that died. But if you want a negative example jsut watch the Osbournes...of course Ozzy sucks anyway but in the Sabbath hayday they were cutting edge. I dunno just something I've been wondering that some of these people might have never been anything without thier substances. Maybe its jsut boredom, depression and lonliness that leads to it. Ahhwell. No one should be sticking a needle in thier arm for fun.
