ORGY!!!!!!!!!
I just got home from school. I love my summer schedule. The latest I'm there is 12:20, but my social psych teacher always lets us out earlier. My first chem exam is next Wednesday! Ahhh!
Okay, so last night was the concert!!! It was so much fun! I got kissed by a rockstar! haha But more on that later.
Stacey, Carlos, and I got there about a half hour early because I wanted the meet-and-greet passes. There were only about 20 people waiting in line by then. All the black people that drove by honked at all the kids dressed "goth"-y. It's a horrible part of town to be in. But anyway, they let us in and didn't check bags or anything. Harpos is as ghetto as they come! So I got to take my camera in. Stacey and I waited at the merch table for like 20 minutes because they didn't have all the merch laid out yet. I got the glow-in-the-dark PSP outline baby tee in red and two cds so I could get two passes. Carlos found us seats because Stacey can't stand long with her knee.
There were FIVE opening bands. Yes, it was horrible. I'm thinking the first three were local bands, and they all pretty much sucked. As Carlos said, they weren't very "clean" -- everything was out of synch. Then Classic Case (sp?) came on and they were pretty good. They're from NYC/SC and they were pretty cute! haha I wouldn't mind buying their cd. Then Godhead came on and they were also pretty good. I saw one of the older women from my oral communication class there! She was there with her son. I said hi to her in the bathroom (which was hideous by the way). I kept seeing Paige on the side of the stage. Ryan too. I guess that was one of the advantages of sitting where we were!
Finally Orgy came on! They were so energetic. During "Opticon," people kept climbing on the stage, mostly girls. Security did nothing. There wasn't even any security in front of the stage. I was a little worried about how they would react, but Orgy is so good to their fans that they put their arms around them and everything while they were playing. This kept on happening throughout the concert, and eventually security started stopping people from doing it. But they were so awesome! I took a few pics but I don't know how they'll turn out. I saved a lot for the meet-and-greet.
Bobby told Jay that he didn't hear enough girls so Jay told the girls to scream for him! haha Ryan was drinking something and Jay tried it and said it tasted like piss. He said that Ryan likes to drink piss on stage. lol
After the concert, everyone with passes had to stand in a line by the merch table. After a while, the guys came out and lined up at the table for autographs. I was so happy to see them again that I could hardly say anything! haha But I asked for hugs. They give good hugs! haha They were all sweaty and wet but I didn't care. lol And the highlight of my night...PAIGE KISSED ME! I felt like a groupie or something. lol All I did was ask for a hug and he gives me a smooch! I just melted. haha Ryan gave me a really tight hug. Those two were probably the sweetest. Then we had to get back in line for pictures, but the Harpos people wanted us to go along quicker, so they decided to do group pics. For the pic with me and Stacey, Jay called Bobby over but I don't know if he got over in time for the pic. I know Jay was right behind me and someone put their hand on my hip, so I'm thinking it was him. Stacey got squeezed by Ryan (her new boyfriend, she says). haha
Anyway, I'm so excited that I got to see my boys! Hopefully they'll come back to Detroit because obviously we've missed them! I mean, people were climbing up on stage and dancing with them! lol And I still can't believe Paige gave me a kiss! He probably did that to a lot of girls, but I'm glad I was one of the few. lol!
One thing that you cannot say about Orgy is that they aren't good to their fans. Sometimes they are a little too good (especially with people climbing on stage!). And they don't half-ass ANYTHING. When they play, they play with energy. When they're with their fans, they are just as excited. When they hug you, it's not the empty hugs friends give each other. It's the hard, squeezy kind! And when they kiss, it's not a peck, it's a mush-your-face-in kiss! hehe I think it was even a double kiss. haha I'm still in a daze.
I can't wait to get my pics developed. I still have a few left because I was saving them for the individual pics. I didn't know we'd only take one group pic. But yay! I'm happy. :D
