Oh, Short stack. I'm on vacation for a bit in a place that doesn't suck. I thought Tenchou would tell you but I wanted to make sure you got the message. I'll be back in a few days, so practice those moves I showed you.

Yeah, this place is way better than Karakura. And it's a lot warmer than the last vacation spot, that's for sure.

Vacation? (Arrancars take vacations?) Okay, I've been working on them! I have to be careful my old man doesn't catch me, so I mostly work on it walking home from school; I think I've figured out the way to pinpoint where my--what'd you call it, rei...reiatsu?--how I can start working on controlling it. It feels like being stuck in a really small tornado or something when I do it.

Yeah, a vacation. We're not your average Arrancar.

Reiatsu, that's right. One of the best ways to protect yourself from being noticed by spiritual beings like Arrancar and Hollows is to be able to control and conceal your reiatsu. It's kind of like curling up or folding in on yourself.
