I can't help but agree. Most of the new music right now are just crap. Noisy music you hear at parties. What with all the "You're way too beautiful girl...Suicidal, suicidal..." blah. What is it with trends these days?!
Luckily (?), when we have trips our parents play old songs. Barry Manilow songs. The Carpenters. Or minus ones playing Celine Dion. Which, mind you, is much better than Sean Kingston and Chris Brown. Stripper, suicidal crap.
And hey, I like Celine!
Oh, and I think the Lilliputan lady playing the piano is Sara Bareilles. Playing Love Song. Not bad, but the music video is a bit on the odd side, hmm?
It's terrible, no? Maybe its main purpose is for party-ing. Specially T-pain's Low. You gotta give it to him. It's some catchy tune. XDD
Sean Kingston. I have a personal grudge against him. As you can see in the post above. I want him to freaking die. o_o
My parents play 98.7 on trips. 98.7 is the Master's Touch station. It plays classical music. It's Christian, so you have to listen to the constant prayers and bible passages. I'm telling it to you because maybe you have issues with Religion. XDD
Oh. Is that her name? I would want to refer to her as The Liliputan lady. Much much more interesting, don't you think? XDDD
You're right: it is catchy (Apple bottom jeans...boots with the furrrrr....)! Props for that.
I admit: yes. I do have slight issues with Christianity (what with the whole thing "being open to other possibilities" thing), I'm sorry to say. But I'm working it out, slowly but surely ^^. LJ deserves major credit for being my outlet for catharsis! :D
I suppose that would be a much more interesting name, though I personally had a hard time reading Gulliver's Travels. It just wasn't my type. o__o I actually do like Sara Bareilles' "Love Song," though!
Hoho. Beauty. Someone agreed. I thought I'd be getting hatemail from all of my homeboys in the hood. XDDD
Yeah. I agree that the Liliputan lady is quite acceptable. Its lyrics are weird though. XD
Savage Garden still rocks my socks. :3
Mmmm. It was T-Pain. He wrote the I'm in love with a Stripper thing. Very romantic, don't you think? XDDDD
Chris Brown is the dude who has color-changing shirt, maam. You won't miss him if you watch MTV. He shows every three minutes or so. :))
I know, maam. Think. Think that this is broadcasted everywhere. Woo. Talk about good morals and good role models.
I personally think there's nothing wrong with naked people walking about. XD If theyre nudist, then let it be. There's nothing to be ashamed of the human body. It just doesn't conform with the norm. O:
this is new. dati puro, mejo, kaemohan ang iyong mga pinagsasabi. this time its angst? okie. kelan mo mababasa toh. i wonder. nasa goy shop ako. wala lang. this post's better.
I'm just a lurker here (moonlitdawn's older sister), and I can't help but agree. Much of today's music suck. Maybe that's why I find myself listening to J-pop more--at least I couldn't understand most the lyrics. *is shot*
