Ooooh, this is very different than the usual Colin story. I approve on principle! I like getting to see a sneakier, grittier, more devious side of Colin, streetrat Colin, streetwise Colin, trained in the shadow of the Bats... nicely done!

Also bonus points for the word "chiroptophobia". :DD

Yeah, I just got really bored of sweet, timid Colin (though I'm guilty of using that fanon interpretation myself). Especially when he canonically is said to have behavioral problems, and is seen to have a stronger stomach than Damian! I just don't think innocence can really survive on the streets of Gotham, and Colin also gives an interesting avenue to explore issues of class and privilege.
