Haha, it's true, baby bird is such a woob! I don't think I've seen a comic character who's shed as many tears.

Pleased to see someone mention the disjuncture-Tim is a real master of compartmentalization, so I think it's just a shock to his system the way the trauma bleeds across everything. Boy doesn't know how to function that way. And so he just turns everything off.
