BEST TIP EVER

You can press the Escape key to stop moving/flashing/blinking icons from moving/flashing/blinking. Also works on smilies on forums and other stuff like that.

Awesome possum! I can read the popular comms now!

Hi! I was so excited to learn this tip - I've had to read things with envelopes held over the screen before because of fast flashing icons. Hope it helps you, too!

I have several moving/flashing icons I use routinely. I won't use them here now that I know they bother you. Sorry if I've ever been the cause of envelope holding!

Please use any icon you like here! With the envelope thing I meant more like reading a long post on a comm that's flashing in the corner. Also, the Howrse forums, it's a long column of texts on the left and a long column of moving avatars on the right, very difficult to look at. Oh, and things like moving smilies in a paragraph. Oh, and things like ONTD where everyone's icon moves.

I'm always happy to get a comment from a friend here with any icon they feel like using! ♥

eta: But that's very kind of you to offer, thank you!

Okay, now I get it. I've seen those pages with the constant moving on the perimeter and in the text and they annoy me as well. I will use moving icons here if I am so moved! :)
