Ok, this whole "Christmas/Holiday" gripe:

I don't think an employee should be under the gun to avoid saying "Merry Christmas", because it's a pretty benign, positive sentiment.  If WalMart loses business for using "Happy Holidays", then the result was bad.  If they gain business for doing that, then the result was good.  Commerce is about profits, ( Read more... )

i know, i'm really tired of all of this. to some people christmas keeps it's actual christian tradition. others seek the hidden history of christmas and find meaning there. more people celebrate other holy days around this time of year, some ancient and some new. and i think a LOT of us like christmas just fine, even though we are atheist, or agnostic or don't know what we are. Merry Christmas!
