The Colorado senate is about to vote on a bill granting "protected class" status based on sexual orientation, specifically in public places.  Our own Focus on The Family responded with a radio ad starting as follows:  (Girl's voice) "Mom - some guy in a dress just came into the girls' bathroom!"

1) Cross-dressers are among the least predatory people ( Read more... )

Holla, sistah!

The last letter I submitted to our local (CONSERVATIVE AS ALL HECK) paper was in response to the alleged Columbine-Goth connection. Maybe it's time to revisit the forum.

Now I have to go look up "Christianist". While I'm there, I should also check "eponymous" and "sorghum".

Huggings upon you and your cats. Glad your love survived the grounding incident. :)

I never replied to your incredibly well-written and thoughtful email. For that I apologize, but I want you to know that I really appreciated your insights. This posting is along similar lines. Whereas most "Christians" I've met confuse the hell out of me with their contradictory statement, you are always a breath of fresh air.

A true Christian. I really appreciate that.

You asked some simple-but-not-easy questions, and I'm glad if my input helped. If you ever have a minute to sit down once your little one debuts*, C. S. Lewis is a maximum badass when it comes to Christian apologetics.

*THAT IS SO DAMN AWESOME!!!!!!

Don't worry - Christians confuse the hell out of each other too. That's why we love Schwarzenegger films but can't handle "Red Shoe Diaries".

And on a completely unrelated note, for some reason, whenever I see that avatar, the bottle you are holding looks really really red and I always think, "Why is cartoon Scott drinking catsup?" ;)

HAAAAH! I really need to change that thing. The bottle is supposed to be Coke (the website didn't have a Pepsi option). While I enjoy catsup, I can't chug it yet. It's important to have goals.

Oh, so you read *both* entries? Outstanding. (I really need to update more often.) Congratulations on the cool review for "Sub Rosa".

I'm reading Entertainment Weekly, and there's a review of the Rambo IV DVD -right next- to a review of an off-Broadway play. Seems like an odd pairing. I couldn't help thinking...
