Showing Serenity on the Big Screen again
Once again the Toronto Browncoats are showing Serenity in a theatre to raise money for the charity, Equality Now. Last year we raised almost $2,000.00 U.S. I want to do better this year.But the theatre itself costs twice as much as last year's did, so it will be a challenge ( Read more... ) -

As I waited for my glasses to be done correctly, I wandered around downtown. I'm not much of a shopper so aside from getting a pair of running shoes, I didn't have much to do. It was quite a week for culture. The library is doing a big community push and on Wednesday I got to go to a Literary lunch where we got free Starbucks coffee and for $5.00 a terribly bland boring Turkey sandwich and a cookie, also from Starbucks. Joss has left Wonder woman
It's the big talk in the Whedon Fandom. After some years of trying to wrastle Wonder Woman into a movie that everyone would like, Joss and the film studio agreed to call it quits. It has always been clear that Joss likes challenges but this doesn't sound like it had been fun for a long time so I think he is well out of it. But now I have a picture ( Read more... )
