Moving "Sale" (aka Free Stuff)

We're moving in just over three weeks. (Eek!) It looks like we probably won't be having a formal moving mob, since crossing the 50-box line leads us to think movers are the Right Answer. We will, however, have a bunch of furniture and generally useful items that we don't want to take with us. Most of it it is perfectly good, but not what we want ( Read more... )

How sturdy is the green bookshelf and how many shelves? I mean, I'll take it regardless, I'm just curious :).

Neat! Quite sturdy, and three shelves. Sadly, the shelves are not adjustable.

That's awesome, I'm guessing they'll be of a distance to fit even my larger textbooks and far better than the particle-board thing I have now. Can you send e-mail to my LJ address (username@livejournal.com) so we can set up a time for me to pick it up?

...which is to say, there are four flat surfaces on which to put books, not counting the top. (Which I don't think is flat, but is currently too high for me to tell, since it lives on a table right now.) I think it's bedtime, if I'm too tired to coherently talk about bookshelves.
