morning

glad yesterday is over. midnight threatened to put me in the ER again as i couldn't really lay straight and had trouble walking. there is something to be said for pain though. i woke up this morning more appreciative of things anyway, the pink sky

Allen and Bergman

Allen cites Bergman as his favorite filmmaker. There are a number of his films in the 80s that are more or less made in the "Bergman style".

but their films also in some ways remind me of what virginia woolf was trying to do in fiction? internal, psychologically focused plots as opposed to external, plot focused ones? wonder if bergman read a lot of woolf, lol.
