THE BRISBANE LIONS have bounced back from successive losses, defeating Essendon by 43 points in their round six clash at the Gabba on Saturday night.

In posting the 17.9 (111) to 9.14 (68) victory, the Lions were a completely different side from the one humiliated by Geelong just six days before.
