I ended up sleeping until almost five o'clock today, which left me in a very awkward position. Too few hours in the day to really get anything done in Waco (like dropping film off at Padgitt's to have it developed) and not enough time to spend with any number of people. You can drive out toward Dripping Springs and see lots of stars. From campus it would be less than a half hour drive. :)

I don't remember commenting on your writing abilities, but I know that over the years friends have quoted things that I've said to them in the past and not remembered but in some way the words have changed their lives. I never want to hurt anyone's feelings, but its also hard for me not to speak up when I have something to say whether its good or bad. In this case, I'm glad my comment spurred you on to concentrate more on your journal writing. What you have written lately shows alot of sensitivity and insight--two qualities that don't come through when we're just talking! I really enjoy reading your journal entries now and will go back through and catch up on the entries I've missed. Happy New Year!
