I know, an actual update on my life here is rare. But Thursday merited some actual venting... The vents will go behind a cut 'cause not everyone's interested, but the one good thing to come out of the colossal clusterfuck that was Thursday, October16 will be left out for all to see

For a company willing to pay people for referring friends/family to one of their rentals, they seem to be missing a good opportunity here to follow through with good will to loyal tenants. I'm sure there are lots of other places now available for as much or less elsewhere in the city you could be renting instead, and if they don't know it, then they've been hiding under a rock for the last 3 years. THey're robably just goign to come in, remove the old unit and replace it, and you really don't have to be home for that, but jeeze are they ever jerking you around here. I might recommend that you contact the NS Rent Board and ask them if there's any recourse of lost groceries, past or present, as these guys should have replaced your unit as soon as it started failing. You've been tenanting there for at least a half decade now, but it doesn't seem like they care. Going the rent board route might create some bad blood, but a reminder that they could have avoided it by treating theor loyal, responsible tenants with a little more respect
