Michaels Crafts?

I know I don't get out much, but when did a Michaels craft and tchotchke shoppe open in Porter Square? Is it in the ex-Pizzeria Uno? Is it in the ex-Pier One?

neither - it's across in the main strip mall, downstairs in the old burlington coat space.

It's the ex-Burlington Coat Factory and opened in the past 2 weeks, I believe.
The ex-Uno's is becoming a Potbelly Sandwich Shop, and I think a cellphone shop.

I am vastly relieved that it has only been there a few weeks. If it had been a year or something I would know things are worse than I had suspected.

I was in Porter Square last night and didn't even notice it, which is too bad as I need a set of size 7 double-pointed needles...
