agreed. I totally miss the comfort of knowing everyone at ASMS and the realization that I will NEVER know everyone I am here with at UT was kinda hard for me but I think I'm slowing coming to terms with my new surroundings and I think I'll like it just fine here. Hope you love Colorado as much as I love Knoxville!
Heh, yeah, I remember that whole transition period. There are like, a million ASMS kids at UA, so everything reminded me of ASMS. I learned that the best way to get through that stage more quickly is to NOT hang out with all the ASMS people. I mean, there's nothing wrong with hanging out with old friends, but I know people that never stepped outside of the ASMS comfort zone so the only people they really know (even a year later) are people that they went to high school with.
Between the existential breakdowns, classes, and exploring campus, I haven't really had time to miss ASMS. The close-ness was nice, but college is nice, too..
Of course, the fact that I have like, a bajillion ASMSers within a 200 yard radius may make the situation different.
I don't know. I prefer to think that I'm just an unfeeling ass.

I bet you're doing an amazing job as Prez.
Hopefully I'll see you soon!
