Today was weird. We had lunch at my dad’s partner’s house and his wife thanked me profusely for coming and told me that she wants me to get to know her son. I looked confused. Today started off being rather depressing, but it did look up. I have found two of the three things I’ve been searching for: a white t-shirt (thanks to Kristen that spotted it on sale in Truworths) and my mom found the perfect brown leather belt. Had much fun at Laura’s house last night. Andria hadn’t seen The Rocky Horror Picture Show (crime!) so we subjected her to that and then did the “Time Warp” repeatedly. Yesterday was rather embarrassing. Nikita woke me up really early wanting to borrow my blazer for the Afrikaans public speaking thing (that I luckily got out of). I've just done a journal word count thing, and I think it's shocking that I have unwittingly used the words 'chuck' and 'norris' 34 times.

I watched 'Almost Famous' again and am in that peculiar mood that always sucks me in after a truly brilliant movie...
