I had a list of resolutions like I always do for each new year for the past few years.
However, this year, I'll just scrap it.

I was up at 2AM yesterday to sub for someone.
Turns out there was miscommunication, so I basically woke up really early.

For some reason, I thought 12/28 was today because I was ready to pay my monthly student loan.

Well, it isn't and I'm a day late.  That just cost me $167.41.

Fuck.
 

but I didn't know it at the time.
Come January 15th, I'll have had my mac for 2 years.
In the past month, the logic board, optical drive, and heat sink have been replaced.
The hard drive has been replaced 2 times.
I think the power adapter is wonky, too.
Luckily, I bought the 3 year warranty, which covered these problems.

I was extremely pissed off yesterday from being charged an extra $0.14 to a petty argument where both sides were not yielding.  And I was very hungry later that day, which didn't help matters at all.

Hey!  Another day, another fucking penny.  Yes, just a penny.  Not a dollar anymore.  I don't even make that much.

As I was biking down Mayfield at 1:30AM, some guy shouted,
"I'm going to get you!  You! Riding down the hill!"

Actually, I started feeling this way a few days ago due to an assortment of reasons.  It would not have been exacerbated if I was not hungry and there was a place that would serve me food.  Yes, I am aware that today is a legal holiday.  I will take a mini vacay in Canada this time next year ( Read more... )
