So basically, this post of mine is related to the heartbreaking "official" news of JIn withdrawal from KAT-TUN.
Sir. Johnny has a brilliant mind. He got a successful agency full of talent that every young boys want to join and every girls worshiped. He might be one of the most powerful man in japanese entertainment business.
That's why I choose to see his decision in business profitability point of view. (Apart from the attempt to keep my heart from breaking.:P)
The rumor of Jin's dismissal from KAT-TUN might bring some more flow for the company. I'll tell you why:
1. Fans become curios with what really happen to the band. People give more attention to them, not only in Japan but also fans from other country. Fans from other fandom might take interest as well as this is a very interesting condition. Which of course very good, since the boys are having their Worldwide concert. Remember, bad publicity is still publicity and any publicity is good.
2. People would like to know better and the best way is of course to see the boys directly.
Hoping when they see the concert, there will be a slip of confirmation or rejection about the rumors from the member directly or by the crew. (linking to the news that stated: Johnny was on one of the concert and gave his statement there). Fans from the US, will also try to get whatever infos they might get from Jin and go to his concert. And voila, ticket sold out!
There you got it! This rumor will probably boost the ticket sales!
Even so, there is still some loophole in the strategy. Some fans might abandon the fandom because of disappointment. Therefore I can't get a full grasp on the tactic.
Anyhow, this is only my own opinion on the situation ( mostly because Jin's dismissal will be too hard for me to handle for now.:P)
I do really hope that KAT-TUN will be together again, even it might not be fair for most of the members. But I fell in love with them when they are together and I am planning to keep my love for their unity.
Pardon my delusion if the rumor is actually true. But, No matter how I will try my best to keep supporting them, in group or individually. And I wish them all the best for their concerts and tours! Hope everyone who will be watching the ultimate fun in the concert!
ps: I still think I need to learn Johnny's marketing strategy.
pss: I'm happy for Kanjani8 and their first dorama-single! WOOOP WOOP (I wonder what other rumor might surface related to Kanjani :P)
