Joe Strummer has died.
I can't speak for anyone else but myself...
this event has greatly sadden me.
The Clash was a great band and Joe
was a very talented musician.
The music he created will
always be a part of my life.
He'll be missed.

and all I could come up with was this...

clicking down the hallway towards me
I heard her minutes before she appeared.
Her hot leather boots
and her short skirt
Her hair playing a seductive dance around her pale neck
she didn't say anything
but her eyes spoke volumes
she seemed to say everything I wanted to hear with her eyes.
I love her
wholely
completely
body + soul

I had never thought about something little like that
being important
those few words
nothing special
but the tone and feelings behind them
warms me

a fond memory recalled

to be remembered
