ETA 12th August 2013: Due to popularity of this post I've unlocked it from my otherwise f-locked journal. If you find your way here following links I would love a comment (though its not compulsory!) as I like to know that I can still help spread the love in a fandom that helped me so much when I needed it <3I've been holding out on you guys...

I mean, I've always felt bad for Vecchio. Like, insanely bad. I hated the ridiculous aspects of the conclusion so much.
But this is --- it's how it should be, and yet I kind of hate it. The idea of Fraser being alone (and being happy being alone). And Kowalski left behind. Oh. :(
I love how they're noted as Old Ray and Ray, haha. Surely at that point you'd write the script as "Vecchio" and "Kowalski"?

You know, Kowalski doesn't seem the picture of happiness in this ending. I just --- Kowalski, you know? His whole speech with Thatcher about not knowing who you are without someone else. and. I don't ship K/V, so... :(
But, still, this is the best ending and I feel kind of cheated now that we got Paul Gross goofiness instead, since, clearly, he can actually write beautiful, understated endings.

Also, approve of your picture-taking ways.

That is AMAZING. And how cool is it that you were able to take pics of it. I wonder if Stella was in the ending at all and if she and V were supposed to hook up.
