I love this story, but I just end up being disappointed (in a good way) and depressed. Please update soon and have a semi-happy ending *whine*. Still, this chapter was awesome as always. So tragically beautiful (I'd use the word epic, but it's been burned) just like the relationship between Logan and Veronica.

Yeah she's annoying me too. I don't know why I keep doing that to myself - writing characters in a way that will surely get under my skin.

Logan has every reason to turn her away, but I think it's completely in character for your Veronica to still be unsure. I don't really think she's unsure about whether to choose Logan or Duncan (I think the continuing wedding talk is just to placate Duncan until she makes up her mind), but I think she is unsure about whether she can trust Logan with her heart. Really, can she take any kind of risk with her heart? She doesn't even do that in canon -- look how rarely she says "I love you."

Somehow I think she'll come around, though. ;)

I don't know what it is about Veronica/Logan stories that always have me taking Logan's side.

Oh wait, I know. Self-righteous people who can never see the flaws in themselves drive me crazy. She just keeps ripping the poor boy apart. Ugh.

You know what I think it is?

I think we are all "tortured" Logan fans. We all have a soft spot for the guy especially because we know that all he wants is to be loved...gah, that sounded really corny. Oh well.
