So..there's this poem, by a guy named Robert Service. It's a poem that I only experienced spoken until some time when I was in college, at which point I hunted it down. Also, I just noticed...crazy rhyming scheme. I don't think I've ever seen that one before, but then again..I'm not an english major :P

That poem always takes me back to 6th grade English class, when I first read it. We had to read it silently, then the teacher read it, then he played this really terrible recording of it that took about a million years to get through the poem. I don't think I was old enough to really get the full effect of the poem overall though until you mentioned it to me a couple years ago and I reread it. Yay for eeriness.

Yeah, it fucked up the formatting on my recent entries page, too. I have a feeling that the LJ cut has something to do with it...

Prolly not. It looks like you forgot to close a tag for italics. Try throwing a <./.i.> (minus the periods) in there at the end of the entry. That might fix it...
