It has been an interesting few days, to be sure. I haven't the faintest which of us came first (really, it's a paradox not quite unlike the chicken and the egg), although perhaps it doesn't quite matter who came first now that we've all come together and ended up in the same place, minus Carlisle and Esme, but I digress ( Read more... )

Oh, you're one of Alice-san's friends? It's nice to meet you! I'm Hinamori Momo.

A pleasure to meet you, Hinamori.

Ahaha, oops! I should've figured, since you both have the same last name...

Oh, and I didn't mention my musical tastes in my first comment... I like broadway stuff, mostly.

No worries. I was trying to distinguish between us as it is. I suppose I succeeded on that front, then?

Ah Broadway. Which are your favorite?

Cloud Strife. 24. Radiant Gardens and Edge. Mellow yet upbeat rock music.

Weren't you at Matt's party? I don't believe I had a chance to speak with you, although I did see you and Matt's shinigami friend playing on Guitar Hero near the end of the night.

Any particular bands?

I was. There were a lot of people I didn't talk to. Rukia kept calling it Guitar Monster and I was horrible.

Gackt, Hyde, L'Arc~en~Ciel, The Beatles, and others.

There were quite a few I missed in the process as well. A shame. Another time, perhaps. Ahh, did she? Is that ... cultural?

I only recognize the Beatles, I'm sorry to say. Where are the others from?

Your age might be a little more believable if you didn't write like a fucking early twentieth century romantic.

Jonathan Coulton and Mussorgsky. Take that.

Haven't the faintest what you mean, Matt.

Such barbaric tastes for one so young. Try some Sinatra and Armstrong, young one.

No, I suppose you wouldn't, would you?

But I prefer Harry James and Duke Ellington.

I am as oblivious as Jasper about oranges.

Duke is magnificent. Perhaps you are not such a lost cause yet.

You're related to Alice? There's no fucking way you're only fucking 18.

I listen to fucking hard rock, metal. Shit like that. My age doesn't fucking matter. Oh, and the name is Pein.

Yes. Her brother. I assure you that I am.

That type can be cathartic, yes. I'm partial to it at times, except when my family labels it as emo. Which it does not have to be. A pleasure, Pein.

She already told me what you are. You might LOOK 18, but I fucking know you aren't.

I fucking hate emo kids and emo fucking music. And Linkin Park is not fucking emo, FTR. Yeah, whatever.

... ah. I see. Well that is not knowledge everyone needs to know.

There is a fine line between emo and punk, it would seem. I like Linkin Park myself, so no worries there.
