Hi! Welcome back! Believe me, the more of the last 5 weeks you missed, the better. I am so not sorry to see Canna go, based on the BS posters alone -- they've pretty much started to eat their young at this point If Xabi Alonso joins RM, I may have to kill myself.

So, what is this 'little show that could'?

thanks♥ i did squint through my fingers occasionally to see what was up (well sort of) and that was enough. i'm glad you survived the rough ride, sweetie. and what's this i hear about the youngins being torn apart by savage fanboys? i haven't checked my local forums recently, but i'm sure the canterra purists and the i-never-approved-of-galacticos/perez-but-we-wants-more-big-names-dammit brigade are still at each other's throats. it's only fitting for the batshit crazy club rm is, though. i just wish, for the boys' sakes, that they get at least something, ANYTHING, stable, like, dunno, managerial policies? a SD and a manager in sync? even with their pres?

and xabi alonso in a rm shirt just ain't right, yo.

oh yeah, and my little show is supernatural aka spn. we have diehard tinhats who worship the holy altar of j2 (jensen/jared, the two stars of the show) who seem to provide great material for fandom wank which i used to check regularly for funnehs. yes, my fandom is quite shiny. *facepalms*

got a show of your own?

Plane I'm in being hit by lightening is one of my biggest nightmares. I get all panicky already when the plane starts to shake only a little due to storms or air pressure. The news about AF447 are really shocking, just talked to a friend about it and we were both quite moved by it. To think that a plane just "vanished more or less.:(

the fact that no one will know what happened until they recover data is what disturbs me the most, i think. for that reason, i'm kind of glad most of my flights are to europe as that normally means i fly over siberia - land. a few years ago, an indonesian plane vanished into sea on new year's day resulting in all sorts of misinformation, confusion, speculation coupled with politics. but this was a small, corrupted airline known to frequently break safety regulations and not air france and the thought of something like their relatively young airbus just disappearing is just...

but sarah, modern planes can handle lightening, no problem, i saw it. and it was a german carrier, so there. :p

What most strikes me is that we have that conception of a globalized world where basically every inch is documentated on a map and yet after more than 24 hours they still haven't found that plane. And for the friends and families this makes it even worse. :(

reuters is reporting brazilian military planes have a sighting of possible wreckage.

but yeah, i agree with you. we should at least be able to track something and yet.

my heart goes out to the families. i hope, even in a worst case scenario, that they would be able to know what happened.

i'm so scared of lightening
in 2 months, there were 2 people hit to death by lightening

today, i was in the classroom and it rained like hell
all the trees were shaking and the braches broke out of them
and there was a big lightening, so scary

So weird to see this again:
Defenders: Fabio Cannavaro (Juventus)

And there are reports that Ciro has the Juve job. That will be strange for the boy, I think, but what an atmosphere in the dressing room. No lack of passion, that's for sure. The other players are going to have to learn the dialect.

OMG, telepathy. *ggg*

I was just about to post the same thing. It was such a weird feeling seeing "Juventus" behind that name. And the guys from "my" Italian Juve forum talking about the fact that three of their CBs were called up. Strange...

And I was also going to to post that Ciro looks more and more likey to become the (permanent) coach. I think most of you are happy about it, right? I'm not sure, they haven't been in that situation before (same for Ale, of course, and Gigi and Camo to a lesser extent as well). Hope they can cope with it as the great professionals that they are.
