Back to school, kiddies!

Today was my first day back at college. One of the classes I'm taking is Philosophy. My professor seems super kool. He looks like he's younger, and he already has his Doctorate! How impressive. Sometimes dressing up helps a person to feel better about themself. I dress better a lot of the time now and it has made a difference. For me it adds confidence. I don't think it has to be a shallow thing at all. Dressing nice can be looked at as doing something for yourself, which is a good thing.

I agree that dressing nice can make you feel better about yourself. I'm down with that. It's just the fact that people always do it on the first day of school, and then it usually slacks off a few weeks later. Why do people do it on the first day of school? To impress others. And that's the part that bothers me a bit.

That's Doctor Hickox. He is teaching my Logic class this semester. I've never had him before but he seems interesting.

He told us at most of the class will consist of discussion and interactive games, which I think will be more enjoyable then the usual lectures.
