It's been ages since I've actually written an entry here. I was on vacation in Hilton Head, SC for a week, which was soooo much fun. I definitely saw the benefit to taking a full week's vacation and going away. It was so nice and restful. Of course, that makes it even tougher to come back and get back into work. I am reminded that life is so very precious and fragile. One of my neighbors (and also the sister of one of my former students) was killed in a car accident yesterday. She had just turned 19. I finally got my arse in gear and made it to the gym AND the grocery store last night. I feel so much better today. As I suspected, I was so much more awake this morning since I went to the gym last night. It's funny how working out is directly related to energy level...at least for me. I'm gearing up to go the gym tonight. I definitely think that I've been so tired because I haven't been to the gym in over a week. I find that it's a vicious cycle...i don't go to the gym one night because i'm too tired and then i end up being more tired the next day...and then i don't go again because i'm too lazy and so on. Why is the world so fucked up??? I was just checking up on the news on cnn.com and saw three stories involving kidnapping children in the headlines. That 4 year old CA girl was safely returned to her parents THANKFULLY.
