i think helmets should be mandatory for bikes and motorcycles. My friend is a nurse at childrens and she said that too many kids come in with preventable head injuries from falling off their bikes.
plus if we have to wear seatbelts then why should jackasses on motorcycles who are zippin' in and out of traffic and 90 miles an hour not have to wear a helmet. I mean, obviously they are idiots and they dont use their brain to start but still, i doubt their family wants to take care of a vegetable.

I agree. I have yet to hear a valid reason for NOT wearing a helmet in either case. When people consider it a "personal freedom" they're only implying that they don't understand the nature of a public road, so they shouldn't be permitted to use them.
