way to go. congrats. im sure shell get used to it. one reason id di it is cos, alot of people associate piercings/tattoos with certian stereotypes. but all that relaly magtgters is our actions and our character. judging people by something entirely external (be in race or peircings or clothes) is close minded and unfair. try and break some preconceived notions and dont perpetuate stereotypes. ttyl

Thats exactly the reason she doesn't want me to get it. When she sees someone with a piercing she immediately thinks less of them. I hate how she stereotypes people and I'm hoping that she realizes that having a piercing doesn't change someone in the slightest, it's just an accessory for them to help express themselves.

i'm sure she will. throughout the years my mom grew to be much more open minded just bc of friends having piercings and such. she grew to realize you can't judge someone by a piercing or tatoo or whatnot.. cause if you do ur just doing urself a damage. it might take her a little time, but in the end she'll just grow from it and learn not to think less of someone bc of it.
than again i still haven't showed my mom my tragus, i'm just waiting for her to notice it so.. easier said than done.
